Rise Above Foundation

Empowering Stability. Supporting Growth. Building Futures.

Rise Above Foundation is a Tacoma-based nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families experiencing homelessness and housing instability. We provide compassionate, structured support that helps people rise above barriers and move toward long-term stability, independence, and meaningful employment.

Our Mission

Our mission is to support individuals and families experiencing housing instability through trauma-informed, person-centered services that promote dignity, accountability, and sustainable outcomes.

Who We Serve

We serve adults and families who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of losing housing. Many of the individuals we support face complex challenges, including economic hardship, lack of support systems, and barriers to stable employment and housing. We meet people where they are and walk alongside them as they work toward stability and independence.
